100 year old retires

Post by markruble »

Did anyone see on CNN today where a 100 year old gentleman who works for the public transportation system in LA retired today after he turned 100. They reported that the last time he took off work was in 1988 when he took one day off work when his wife of 67 years died.

He won't be slowing down much, he's using his lifetime bus pass to explore the city, and he's the new spokesman for the 99 cents only stores. :)

This guy is great. He took one day off his entire career. WOW! Must have really loved his job.
