Blue Heaven Rendezvous

I tried to use the internet to answer a question and for once it yielded no definitive answer!

The question is: did Jimmy pen the lyrics for "Blue Heaven Rendezvous"? Also, was he the first to record it, or is it a cover of sorts? I really love the song and am curious to know who is responsible for it.

Thanks for the info.

Well, that group turned out one mighty fine tune--beautiful song. It's one I didn't discover until recently when I signed up for Napster To Go and get unlimited downloads, so I got a lot of the JB songs I was missing. My cup runneth over. :pirate:

I'm spending 6 months in Australia next year to study abroad, and it's images like yours that make me weary of the ocean. It will be typhoon, shark and jellyfish season while I'm there, so just getting back home in one piece should be an accomplishment.

Ya'll should read a book called "The Devil's Teeth", it is about a group of islands off the coast of San Francisco. At certain times of the year, one of the largest collection of Great White sharks gather there. It is a fascinating book.

And don't forget the spiders, snakes, etc., too. :o  It's a great place, enjoy.

And Blue Heaven is a great song.

They are known as the Farallon Islands. They also believe that the larger females go south to San Diego and give birth. Scares the s**t out of me when I think of all the surfing and midnite swims I took when I grew up there... :o :o
FINS UP, literally
