Would the REAL "anonymous" please stand up...?

SON (and others): at first i gave clint a chance, until the songs started turning into duets. felt there was just too much of a twang in his voice, and couldn't hear the harp all that well. really didn't like the "duet" on my favorite song--PIRATE LOOKS @ 40, but all in all it was still a great show and i like the set list--8 songs i've not heard live before.

FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO HOPE CLINT BLACK IS "NOT" SHOWING UP AT THE SHOW YOU'RE GOING TO GO TO HIS WEBSITE AND CLICK ON "THE KILLIN' TIMES"...that will take you to the page that has his TOURS icon.
www.clintblackfans.com
it appears that he won't be at ALPINE and he'll be in IOWA during the saturday CINCY show.
PHINS UP SONOFABEACH

AND TO ALL THE ANONS out there..phins up and take it easy on those who don't know as much as you think you do.

Anon, your the type of fan buffett concerts could do without. I like fast paced too, but dont need to buy jimmy's new crap albums to get it. Try listening to the older songs Wino and I know, Migration, or albums from the 80's, Coconut Telegraph, Volcano, Last Mango, One Particular Harbor or Floridays for good fast paced. And I'm younger than you so your age is no excuse for bad taste.

Very disappointed in the show as a whole,
yeah I liked some of the tunes that Jimmy
rarely plays live, but I hope Clint Black gets
the flu because he really does not fit in. Come
Monday sucked and the members of the band
parading around was lame.
Great heart does not get the show going, and
Jimmy looked kinda tired. Where do I get my
money back? Liked one particular harbor and
Holiday. Best song of the night was Island.
The parking lot was kind of beat too, guessing
more drunks will be going sat. Guess I should
have drank more to make the show better. I
am still a parrothead, just one who thinks
maybe a good thing has come to a end, then
again this was the first show.
P.S. Heard that radio margaritaville was awful,
too much buffering, not enough bandwidth.

that's odd...the radio only cut out 2 or 3 times for me

BTW... www.clintblackfans.com

will tell everyone where clint will and won't be.

Ok, set list is nice. Cant wait for the Pitt. shows. Too much Clint. I like Clint's music but I just cant picture him as a full time Reefer. He has big shoes to fill in replacing Fingers.
Maybe giving so much time was too much of an effort to fill those shoes?

I agree that Amy should fill in with her sax.
I have her Cd and its great!

"Growing Older But Not Up".
Peace Everyone!

PghPirate: You going to Thurs Show ?
Think about the limo bus that P.
Kaley is trying to get. Sounds like
a blast!

Mac who? Fingers what? The show was great with a lot of fresh stuff. Give Clint a break, he's probably only been with them for less than a month. And we even had the Hemisphere Dancer buzzing the crowd before the show. I'll see you on Saturday. Look for the Pirate Flag and the happy face balloon flying high above the green SUV after 1:00pm.

Beers/margaritas to anyone (over 21) who can pick me out of the crowd on Saturday based on the description above!!!

And, mellow out to all you people taking this a little too seriously!

Jimmy is for fun and relaxation.

OK, here's me...I loved the show. There was kind of a different vibe to the crowd. We were in the reserved seating, and people ACTUALLY sat down for many songs...Can you believe?? I'm not sure if I would have opened and closed with two older songs, IF IT ALL FALLS DOWN might be philosophic, and poignant but end on a high note, right? It just sounded like he's ready to wrap up this touring business altogether. I know when you have a "special Guest" you have to let him do stuff, But I tend to agree with a lot ofpeople when they say less Clint. Let's see how Sat nite goes...

"When My Ship Comes In" is a Clint Black song...not a JB song. Kind of disappointed Clint sang on "Come Monday". I wasn't there. How did that song come across to those who were at the show?

Did Jimmy do the video of the city scenes? What about parking lot footage? To what songs?

No one has mentioned this.

Sounds like Clint got mixed reviews.

Jimmy Buffett wrote "When My Ship Comes In", so I guess it is a JB song.
