FYI: For those of you going to the Pine Knob show there will be a special performance in the parking lot before the show by Living Soul, complete with a certain ex-Reefer making an appearance.

I took a camera into the show with me and got some cool shots of the crowd with the fins up
but that's about the only pictures that turned out worth buying from inside.

So when is Living Soul performing? And even in the rain that is predicted!

I feel wierd saying this (being that I'm at the ripe young age of 26), but I thought the crowd was WAY TOO YOUNG yesterday. The parking lot(near the bridge) was lively, but it didn't seem to have the usual Buffett flare. I spent most of the day watching drunk high schoolers go stumbling by saying how great a party Jimmy shows are. It seemed like most of them didn't have tickets to the show and they were there to just drink. I joked with a couple of guys next to me that I felt like I was an old fart. There seemed to be no trouble so at least they know what Buffett shows are all about. The show was great in my opinion, there was enough room to move around on the lawn. I'll be back on Saturday. I tell you one thing though, I can't wait till Great Woods to see the real Buffett fans. What did everyone think of the parking lot?

In response to some comments. Broadcast was great. Only two short dropuots(southern cross and Margaritaville and I had no Buffering during the Show, only at intermission. Got a great tape. Am i the only one that thinks Come Monday should be retired? I flipped when Jimmy closed with Slow Boat... Gave me goose bumps to hear it. Loved the "new stuff" and not the SYKBH you usually hear. Been a Buffett fan since I saw Rancho Deluxe in the movies years ago. This is a pirate lokin' at fifty. Hope to score Jones Beach tickets tomarrow a.m.

4 of us Drove down from Hartford, CT. I think every highway along the way had construction going, but we still managed to get there to be the 20th or so car in line for the parking lot.
Great weather all day and awesome tailgating. Met some great people at the show(thanks Jen). I went into the show with no idea of the the setlist he was going to play. Overall I enjoyed the setlist. He played some songs I love, but didn't expect him to play. "Great Heart" as an intro wasn't the greatest choice and I thought "On a Slow Boat to China" was a disappointing way to end a great show. What happened to "Pencil Thin Mustache" or "Tin Cup Chalice." I had a great experience in Camden and I'm looking forward to seeing the last show of the Summer at Great Woods.

Set list sounded great at home. After everyone complaining about no sykbh i'm missing soasoas and pencil thin mustache. I'd rather have one of those than that song clint sang. Other than that the show was great. I don't neccessarily like clint singing on jb songs but i'm sure if i'm at the show it would seem like a good idea. ~~^~~ Finz Up and cya all in pittsburgh the 22 and 24.

Timmy(not the other timmy that posts as timmy but i am 16 and the same name, many similarities)

Jimmy should have hired Clint Eastwood. It was a good concert but not great.Fingers and Mac were missed by me.The only reason Jimmy had Clint Black on board was so we would forget about Fingers And Mac.Come Monday was dreadful Slow Boat to China was very poor.

Overall the parking lot was not as good as my experiences at Meadows. The crowd was extremely young, but under control for the most part. Meeting my new friends from Pennsylvania helped the pre show experience, without them I would say that the parking lot was lacking excitement.

Man-atee.....nice to hear honest remarks......heard the show on RM.....was very disappointed...yeah, it's not like being there....but the lack of Finger's harmonica and the same old tired lyrics made me turn it off and go watch the Devils hockey game.....would rather listen to the CD in the car, on the beach...can do without the kiddies being drunk.........sorry, but Clint Black will NOT save this band!

I had a GREAT time. What a way to spend your 45th birthday. First time at Camden and I thought it was a great venue. Yes, a very young crowd but I didn't observe much obnoxious behavior from youngsters or oldsters. And, thank goodness, the security there hasn't gone to the Merriweather Post School for Storm Troopers. We set up right by the river and enjoyed watching the Hemisphere Dancer. Club Trini was playing inside the gate. Probably from about 7 to 7:30. (No watch; I was on island time.) They were wonderful. Tina and Nadira did Cairo, my favorite. I got a hug and a compliment on my vest from Jim Mayer. He seemed to really be enjoying himself.

I liked the set list very much. I thought Clint Black's harmonica playing was a little tentative, but, hell, it was his first show. And he hasn't had a great deal of time to practice. I don't think Jimmy looked tired. I thought he was in fine form.

We made didn't make it home until 3:30. We live in Hershey. But I was only 15 minutes late to work this morining. Thank heavens I work in a nice quiet library. That's what song I want to hear at a concert-- Love in the Library!

What time did last night's show start? Was there an opening act?

There is never an opening act anymore for a Jimmy Buffett concert. Seems like he felt most people who have been out tailgating all afternoon are lucky to make it before his 4th song. LOL

Love Clint Black, but amazed that he is so much a part of Jimmy's concert. Will be at Nissan on the 15th and MPP on 8/26. Hope they hear the mixed reviews before then.

Hey kids, quit your complaining! You will never find a show like Jimmys' anywhere else on earth! Not even close! Last night was a little different but it's always great. And the Hemisphere Dancer was awesome! Saturday night I'm taking my three year old Grandparrot Savannah. Guess where she got her name from? Parrothead George.

Had a great time last night--number 11. Fortunately, my buddy and I had a Ticketmaster dream the day before instead of the usual nightmares from those guys and we got reserved seats for the 1st time. I don't know how it sounded on RM, but I thought Clint Black was great. It seemed like he truly was a phan with a once-in-a-lifetime chance to be on stage. Don't we wish we could be so lucky? I thought JB seemed to be having a great time, too--I'm glad we make him feel at home in Philadelphia. Anyway, if this is the last full tour, at least Bubba went out on top. Can you make 30,000 people laugh and dance at your job? My only regret is that I'm 20 and won't be able to take my 'keets to a show when they come around. Well, at least I'll have "some stories I can tell." See you Saturday.

Tomorrow can't come soon enough! This will be show #5 for me, and each one was great in its own way. What time did they actually come on stage last night? I want to make sure I maximize my tailgating without missing any of the show. See you all on the hill!
