Parrot Heads in Paradise would like to announce the Gypsy Songman himself, Mr. Jerry Jeff Walker will be joining us with his band for a one time show at the Casa Marina Beach Stage on Thursday November 2, 2006 in Key West Florida.

For those of you who don't know, Jerry Jeff Walker introduced Jimmy Buffett to Key West. The story goes, Jerry Jeff and Jimmy packed up Jerry Jeff's old Packard for a quick trip to Key West back in the 70's - Jimmy liked Key West so much, he stayed and the rest is history.

This show is at the Casa Marina and will be open to only those that qualify and register for Meeting of the Minds. We already have over 1000 people registered and we will stop registration this year at 3500 people. Last year we were sold out way before the September deadline so I recommend you visit the PHiP web site and register.

:D Yea! I have always wanted to see Jerry Jeff in concert and now here's my chance. I will *hopefully* be there Thursday night. ((keeps fingers crossed))

IMHO, Jimmy will show up if he shows up :lol:

That said, he didn't show last year so perhaps that can give us a little more hope he'll be there this year. I enjoy MOTM anyway, so I don't count on it. If he shows it's a bonus!

With JJW, LJT, and Keith Sykes there's always the possibility.......yet one might think that they'll show up later somewhere in town or on a beach just jammin' !!! 8) 8) 8) 8)
