I'll be there along with my hubby and my sister...and another couple will road trip too! We are all members of the Sandlapper Parrothead Club in SC. I can't wait!
Zanzibar ...you are in for a treat from the PMG - IMHO. They are the nicest guys in the world and play great original music!!! At past shows they usually do a "Meet and Greet" after the show. They appear to really enjoy meeting all of us fans and PH's... and then Club Trini - I have really missed their musical magic since they stopped performing before the JB concerts. I'm very happy to hear them again...One more month^^^^^^^^^^^^

I agree, Peter was here in Dayton back in the winter & he was very nice during the "meet & great" after the show.

ok...i have an announcement...this is a venue just like all other venues...u cannot take coolers into the amphitheater...its the port authority's rule...we have nothing to do with it...however the event is free so we figure you would spend money on booze inside the venue....there are tons of local returaunts that set up on the east side of the venue and it is awesome....
i will be on staff...so there is a chance i can bring some stuff in for people as far as bottles of liquor...but if u want to bring ur own beer...i would say get creative...a lot of our friends use the bags of fold up chairs to bring stuff in...the cops check coolers and if u bring them they make u leave them at the gate...
you cannot tailgate in the port authorities parking lot...however i have the combination to the perry's landing and we are looking into that as far as me giving you guys the combo for that for parking and tailgating ect....
but im not sure you will all want to do that anyway because the entertainment spans over the entire day...and the food being inside...partial proceeds go to our erie zoo and the american cancer society....
we would find a different venue so we could let ppl bring coolers but the ampitheater is right on the water and its gorgeous...so we just have to deal with the rediculous port authority...if u have any questions dont hesitate to PM me or email... merrymancr@washjeff.edu
well, y'know, as far as coolers and such goes..... it's a charity event, y'all, and the music is FREE.... don't be stingy..... for one day shell out a few bucks and buy food and booze inside.....
Carry on as you know they would want you to do. ~~JB, dedication to Tim Russert
