KD Moore Question

Post by jbfinscj »

Hey Everyone,

With all of this Fingers Taylor talk I have noticed people have been mentioning the name KD Moore. I just checked out his web site and for $25 you can order three of his albums. The albums are:

Headin' South (2004)
Live At The Tin Goose Saloon w/'Fingers' Taylor
Kickin' It Island Style

Is he an artist worth looking into? I enjoy most of Jim Morris's stuff and I have been wondering about this guy. Thanks for any input.

Most definitely!

I have all 3 CDs and I've seen him live a few times. He does a good Buffett cover, but his original stuff is awesome.

Zman likes him so much that KD and Sunny Jim split the cost of a TRO to keep him from attending EVERY one of their concerts/gigs... :D

Just ordered those three albums...what a bargain. You know I hate to say it, but I am missing the old sound that Jimmy used to have on his albums. I went back and listened to "You Had to be There" and it was like magic. Maybe someday that spark will return....
