It's not brick like the picture but it's gorgeous! We've got a couple friends who had the same house built in a different community and it's awesome! Got a huge open living room and upstairs there's a bridge that looks over the downstairs!! And it's got 5 bedrooms so there's plenty of room when y'all come to visit!!
We're waiting for the town to release the land permit so the builder can start it! If things go smoothly (which they probably won't) it will be ready in about 5 months!!!

KEWLIES AND CONGA-RATS!!!
Er don't count on them going smoothly. I have as of yet to hear from anyone, that they did. Always something unforseen popping up or a delay in getting this or that. Hopefully if you have any problems, they will all be mild ones. Wishing you all the best!!! Remember "Hurricaine Season!!!
I am not sure about there, but we have to plan on the daily afternoon thunderboomers when doing anything outside. We may or may not get them, but we must plan on them happening. Some can be quite intense and strong and damaging.
Roll with the punches, play all of your hunches...come what may... POW-MIA, YOU ARE NOT FORGOTTEN!!!

What section of town? I need directions...soon...talking about a trip up there next week...
It's on John's Island.. Near Maybank Hwy and River Rd. Next week eh? Lemme know! We'll meet you for a couple drinkies!
As for the 5 bedrooms.. 3 of them are a bit small, but we really don't need them anyway. Housing prices in that area are about to skyrocket as soon as they finish a water main that's supposed to supply the island. So we'll probably resell in a couple years and the extra bedrooms should be a nice resale feature.

Yeah, hurricane season will be interesting. We're only 11 miles from the beach. The good thing is that it's not in a flood zone.. I know that doesn't matter if a cat 5 comes roaring through, but at least we won't be swimming in the backyard after every rainstorm!

But count on about 3-4 mths past the date they tell you.... just for sanity sake!
AT LEAST!
But congrats and try to keep your sanity.
Our friends had to wait a year with the same builder, so I'm certainly not getting my hopes up.. I won't start getting stressed until next April when it's still not finished..
