Microsoft customer service??

Has anyone had any dealings with Microsoft and their customer service? The reason I ask is that my son bought a XBOX 360 when they came out. He sat out all night long, in the freezing cold, at the local Wal-Mart (yes, I said WAL-MART!) to be the second one in line to buy the thing. It has since been sent in for repair 3 or 4 times. Ican't remember how many. The customer service has, up to now, been good. He has had very quick turnaround on his defective box. However, this time his console has been
in the repair center since 3/27. I just talkied to them again today, and they can give me no idea when he will get his box back. They did assure me that it would be within a year

after I started pushing. I was just wondering if anyone had any inside info as to how to get this through a little quicker. It just seems like way too long to me.

My son had to send his XBOX 360 back right after he got it because it had problems freezing up. He sent it back, they fixed it & returned it to him. Don't think he's had problems since. But GOOD GRIEF....UP TO A YEAR??? ...why don't they just send him a new one????

I think that's already happened at least once. I think they are having trouble keeping up with all the defective boxes they are getting. The service rep told me that Jordan(my son) was not the only one getting slow service. I think they released vbefore they had all the bugs out. But, that is just my humble opinion.
