That's a greatest hit(s) collection, not a proper album. Same for
Meet Me in Margaritaville.
It was a joke, Jah.

Thanks for clarifying but how exactly was I supposed to be able to determine that from your post?
It wasn't intended for you.

And how exactly was I supposed to determine
that from reading your post? If it wasn't intended to be read by all of us it should have been sent as a PM.

I'm ignoring you now, you are clearly just trying to instigate.

Not at all. I've been extremely polite and will continue to be. I'd say stating that your post wasn't intended for me would be "instigating". If you intended for your post about
Songs You Know By Heart to be humorous there was absolutely nothing in your post that indicated that.

I would be more than happy with any of those choices. I picked A1A for Migration alone.

I think Migration would be the perfect opener - talk about kicking things off with a bang!

What about Hot Water?
Smart Woman ina SHort Skrt hit me with, "all true PH's have this album." It took me FOREVER to find it.
L'Air de la Louisiane
Great Heart
Smart Woman
That's What Living is to Me
Disclaimer- This post was intended to be only semi humorous. While the content my raise an eye brow or two, there’s no need to get your panties in a wad over some good natured fun.

I voted for A1A because it is the set with the most songs that I really like. However, it was very hard to vote against SOASOAS just because of my love affair with "The Cost of Marseilles" (not just Jimmy's version, but the song in general).
This is a great thread guys!

I have to say, I have been a fan forever, been reading this board for years, and come to BN to confirm or deny all rumors, tour dates, and of course to check the set lists after each show. I've never been inspired to post, until now. I love this thread!
I'm suprised to see that no one has suggested Volcano
Chanson Pour Les Petites Enfants
Dreamsicle
Lady I Can't Explain
Survive
There are so many great 4 song sets on many, if not all, of the albums that I keep changing my mind, but I love this one, and have not seen it yet!

I could definitely deal with a Volcano set
I also love:
Treat Her Like a Lady
Boatdrinks
Sending the Old Man Home
There's so much great material he can dust off and bring back out for us.

I thought the OPH tribute in the Irvine set list was disappointing. I liked the way he grouped all 4 songs from Fruitcakes. Spacing the OPH songs out like he did, didn't work for me. Plus, OPH, BEG and We Are the People have been in recent set lists. California Promises was the only real treat.
In fact, that show could have also been the White Sport Coat show, Grapefruit, PB Conspiracy, WDWGDAS and He Went To Paris are all the same album.
Maybe lumping them all together lost the crowd a little on opening night, I'd understand that. But I liked the concept of digging deeper into an album and playing them together.
I guess we'll see how the tour progresses.
