Me too....and I would prefer he not get cutesy with the lyrics. "I've got my iPod, she's got you..." GEEEZZZZZZZZZZZ Jimmy!
Greatest moment of last night's highlight of the OPH album was when Jimmy stayed true to the lyrics on One Particular Harbor and "used to rule his world from a payphone".

Really enjoyed the featured songs last night! 8) 8)

ok...sticking with the poll choices...with a little twist...I would have to say Living & Dying in 3/4 Time:

1. Ringling, Ringling
2. The Wino and I Know
3. West Nashville Grand Ballroom Gown
4. Ballad of Spider John

without the poll choice:
Havana Daydreamin'

1. Woman Goin Crazy on Caroline Street
2. Clichés
3. Something So Feminine About a Mandolin
4. Kick It in Second Wind

Who cares? I just did practically all of them. :)
Now that would be a poll!

Man, I'm gonna be super dissappointed if the featured album in Indy is License to Chill.

It's not a bad album, but how many more times can you hear "Hey good lookin'" "Piece of Work" or "License to Chill" before you absolutley go bonkers. I think I have heard enough of that album after the last two tours.

For Saturday California show, this looks like great picks and Jimmy can use Come Monday for the video or Pencil Thin Mustache. Although I would rather see Come Monday video, I think most concert goers would miss Jimmy singing it and would rather see Pencil Thin Mustache.

Anybody like grapes, besides Jane?

Uncle John's Band would be more of a crowd pleaser, but he did that one in Arizona, so Livingston's Gone to Texas would be my choice. I hope he saves God's Own Drunk for TEXAS. (Heck I hope he saves L&D3/4T for Texas.)

Living & Dying in 3/4 Time
Dunhill - 1974

1. Pencil Thin Mustache
2. Come Monday
3. Ringling, Ringling
4. Brahma Fear
5. Brand New Country Star
6. Livingston's Gone to Texas
7. The Wino and I Know
8. West Nashville Grand Ballroom Gown
9. Saxophones
10. Ballad of Spider John
11. God's Own Drunk

Hence I chose ones he doesn't normally play. No LTC, POW, HGL, or Scarlet Begonias. I'd rather hear Coastal Confessions, Coast of Carolina, Conky Tonkin, and Boats to Build.

I would have to vote for Frutcakes or Banana Wind. I loved the songs that he did from Frutcakes on Tuesday night!

Jimmy did mention about tying the featured albums to videos in his collection. So, I suppose those chosen will be from albums that have a video.

To the best of my knowledge, the albums still eligible include:
A White Sportcoat and a Pink Crustacean
A1A
Living and Dying in 3/4 Time
Riddles in the Sand
Hot Water
Off to See the Lizzard
Changes in Lattitude, Changes in Attitude
Banana Wind
Far Side of the World
License to Chill

Based on the following list of videos he's made:
Trip Around the Sun (LTC)
Pencil Thin Moustache (L&DI3/4T)
Come Monday (L&DI3/4T)
He Went to Paris (AWSCAAPC)
Nautical Wheelers (A1A)
Livin' It Up (OPH)
One Particular Harbour (OPH)
La Vie Dansante (RITS)
Who's the Blonde Stranger? (RITS)
Homemade Music (HW)
Take Another Road (OTSTL)
Jamaica Farewell (FF..compilation)
Another Saturday Night (FF..comp)
Fruitcakes (F)
Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes (CILCIA)
The City (FF..comp)
Lovely Cruise (CILCIA)
School Boy Heart (BW)
Far Side of the World (FSOTW)

And you could probably get it to just about all the albums if he includes the following as video sources:
Hawaii
Mini-Matinee
Fenway
Live By the Bay
Wrigley
Coastal Confessions (?)

And, is anyone else wondering how he's remembering all these lyrics??

Me too....and I would prefer he not get cutesy with the lyrics. "I've got my iPod, she's got you..." GEEEZZZZZZZZZZZ Jimmy!
But that's the way he sang it on tour when he redid it. :-?
That is my point...if he is going to highlight songs from an album, play them the way they were recorded on the album!
Although I agree with the cutesy bit or Buffett hollering the lyrics for emphasis rather than singing them, I'd also surely hope he wouldn't perform the songs just as they are on the albums. There's enough "artists" out there doing that already. The reason I attend concerts to start with is to hear songs performed live, not note for note as they appear on the records.
My two cents, that's what makes seeing a performer live so great. You know that they COULD sing the same song the way they do it on the album, but I think it's much more personal if they "mix it up" a bit, even to the point of skewing some lyrics. That's why I love the live concerts the best.

I liked the songs you picked, but I also love Back to the Island. One of my favorites off of that album.

Well I am personally hoping that he will do A1A when he gets to Florida, but I would choose the four songs you chose or any four from that album. Actually I am kind of hoping for the entire thing. Well, if you are going to wish, might as well wish big. :P :P

Presents to Send You was great last year but it's one of my favorite songs and I definetly wouldn't mind hearing it a second time live. :pirate:
