Ticks: to Flush or Not to Flush?

Post by bravedave »

If you find one, do you flush it?
Some "authorities" say yes. Some say no.

I bet if ticks looked more like baby seals, you wouldn't be so quick to flush them.

I am trying to think of why would you? If you find one (Frontline certainly helps!) you kill it and throw it away. I don't get the need to flush.

Is where the Chinese buried the truth...

Especially if you get supertick and it survives the flush. I wouldn't want to be the next butt on the seat, the tick would be out for revenge.

BOTH OF YOU need to flush your heads for that!!!

When it comes to ticks, I normally kill them and then dispose of them, either in a fire if outside, or in the trash or eleswhere. That way I KNOW the little BLEEP is D-E-A-D and will not be back!

Why waste the water on flushing the little BLEEP?

If I'm somewhere with ticks, then I'm probably not someplace with a toilet. But I would burn it rather than that flush it.
