Buffett to Perform at Myrtle Beach Margaritaville

The Sun News has an article: "Jimmy Buffett coming to MB's Margaritaville"

Feeling lucky? You'll need to be if you want to catch Jimmy Buffett's first performance at his Margaritaville restaurant in Myrtle Beach. About 300 fans will win their way into the May 4 evening show through radio contests and daily drawings at Margaritaville and Cheeseburger in Paradise, the two local eateries affiliated with Buffett.

Thats my birthday, what a great present that would be if I could win a ticket for that. That would have to be one of the best presents.

. .kinda puts a kink in any hope I had of Jimmy playing at the NO M'ville on Thursday before his show at JazzFest . .

. .oh, well . .at least I know now, and can make other plans. .

just heard it announced on radio margaritaville... may 4 .. you need to win tickets.. and its only for 300 people :o

Jimmy Buffett show drawings canceled.

Fans wanting to see Jimmy Buffett perform at Broadway at the Beach next week can no longer sign up to win tickets at Margaritaville and Cheeseburger in Paradise.

Legal issues forced the restaurants to cancel their giveaways Thursday, the day they started, said Mike Whitmer, Margaritaville's general manager.

Those who had already entered the drawing at the restaurant will be notified.

The only way to win tickets will be through radio contests on 107.1 FM and 104.9 FM. Tickets are not for sale, so the only way to get in the show is to win tickets off the radio.

Buffett will play inside Margaritaville about 5 p.m. Thursday.
Maybe we can listen to these channels thru the internet and then call in?
