Wish I could have stayed with everyone but it was a LONG day.

I've got to get going here.
Don't have to be to work until later but it's time to get up and focus (somewhat).
Have a great day!!
I'll catch up with everyone a bit later.

Mornin', y'all.........
Wow, I just stopped in to say hi and couldn't believe the action on here last night! Y'all have been busy! Sorry I wasn't around........was busy setting up a new laptop, well, sorta....Guess I should say hubby was walking me through setting up my laptop.
Congrats on your Teacher of the Year award, Gonzo...what an accomplishment! And to answer your question....Darlington is an awesome track. These races this weekend will be my first "official" night races there. I don't remember what we had going on last year but we couldn't go. I'm looking forward to this weekend's festivities.....Phil scored "hot passes" for today so we will be watching everything from the pits. I've been in the pits and garages before but never when cars were on the track. We will be down there the whole day and night....should be cool! I hope, for Phil, that Harvick wins the Busch race again!
Deb?? I suppose Gordon is kinda good looking in that pretty boy sorta way....if you like that kind of thing. I prefer real men myself!
Soraya....I'm sorry to hear you've been under the weather. Warm weather colds and the like are brutal. I hope you are on the mend.
Glad to hear that all went well yesterday, Cocotel, and hope that you are getting some sleep....looks like you were up pretty late last night!
Well, I gotta get moving.......Phil ran into work for a few but will be ready to head to the track in about an hour. I'll try to check back again tomorrow morning sometime. Maybe I'll have another 8 or 9 pages of posts to catch up on! Have a great weekend everyone!

Hello all,
I just wanted to say that I am excited to hear all about the phlocking building up for Charlotte. I won't be able to come myself but I'm gonna get all of the "non-incrimidating" details from Cocotel. You see, he is my boss (even though he hates to be called that) and has filled me in on the party to come. You guys have a great time, I can't wait to hear how it goes.
PS Working for a Parrothead boss has it's perks

I get to work and find my co-worker has joined the board!!
Muddy is here pholks!!!
It is like a wonderful dream to work with someone who fill his media player with all the best Buffett tunes, knows how to make the ultimate Buffett cd burn and looks around the corner asking, " Boats or Bars"
It's also awesome to work with someone who "get's it"
It's a great day in the neighborhood pholks!!!

Wow, you all were busy last night! Couldn't believe how many pages I had to catch up on, but it's all good. Bubba phan, you just leave me and my "pretty boy" alone. And if you get kinda close to him, how about taking a pic for me!!! Please, please!?! When is qualifying? I've been to Darlington but it's been a long, long time ago. About all I remember is having to walk a long ways to get to the racetrack.
Railroad lady (can't remember your name) I guess I need to let you know to hold two cups for me. I'll contribute whatever!
Gonzo, congratulations!!! That is great. My daughter is in middle school and she has a few teachers that she talks about ALL the time. You do make a huge impact on so many childrens lives! Keep up the good work!
If anyone needed a ride on concert day, just let me know. I'll be coming from home (Hickory), so I could pick you up.
Cocotel, heres hoping things continue to go well for your wife!!!!!!
Ok, now am I all caught up?!?
Besides the concert tonight, I'm also going to see Gretchen Wilson and Trace Adkins in 2 weeks. So I'll really have time to check things out. I bought a couple of those country mega tickets. I'm looking forward to the shows I get to see this summer.
Ok back to work!

Oh and hey Jill! I hope we're just kidding about the drivers, I mean not that I'm joking about pulling for Gordon but just picking with each other about our favs (but thank God you're not a Tony Stewart fan, see I just can't leave it alone, can I?!?).
We still need to think about those name tags! (or is this one of those if you mention it, you're in charge of it situations, lol) I'm terrible with names and so it would really help me. We could put everyone's screen name and real first name on them. I'm not the greatest computer whiz (and that's putting it mildly) but maybe I could get someone here at work to help me print out something. What does everyone think??? I could try to get real crafty and make them somehow match our banner and cups!!!! Well, maybe, if it's possible. I just need a nudge in the right direction.

Ok so I changed the subject to 400.
Since we posted about 60 last night I figure before the day closes out we can get to 400.
What's for lunch today?
Spaghetti here.

Hi Muddy, nice to meet you! Wish I worked with anyone who even knows Jimmy Buffett! We have the piped in, elevator music and every now and then one of his songs comes on and of course I have to stop and dance around a little while walking down the hall. I'm sure everyone thinks I'm crazy. Oh well, I don't care.
The questionaire thing that I was thinking about could be about things here on the board. I think Tofar asked what the Oar house is, it could be things like that, and about people who post here, like Larry and how old he is (not that I know but that's just what everyone says). Like I suggested, we could start a new post and let others propose some of the questions. I've been here as a lurker (as you can tell from the number of my posts) but I have really enjoyed reading some of the funny tales and situations. There was some guy that got kicked off the board a while back and then he came back and started posting as a girl. That was funny! Just a suggestion. You know we could have someone else who posts a lot, like one of the mods, be in charge of the questions and somehow she could get the answers to one of us in a SEALED envelop so that none of us knows the answers until we play the game. Just thinking off the top of my head!!!
