yeah, me too... i will say, being dry is a little nicer! but not the same not seeing everyone and dancing in the grass. carpet leaves rugburn. haha

hello all. Sorry I missed you all in Charlotte.We got in late Saturday and got to Boardwalk Billys around 10.....just in time to get the late night menu. I must say the wings AND the coconut shrimp were great. Sunday we kept thinking about leaving the pool and coming in to tailgate, but never got up the gumption. As I said before, this was out first weekend outing together and we really just enjoyed the relaxation of it. John got to see all the decorated cars that seemed to be everwhere we went.he thought that was cool..lol
We wound up getting to the lot about 6 and we walked around a bit so he could take it all in and then we wandered into the stadium.
We got to slow dance soaking wet to Come Monday.

Maybe we'll get to meet up with everyone at the next gathering.

here's a few pics we took.....we were too busy enjoying each other to really bother with that camera too much.

That pic with the black van that has Carolina Panthers on the back. We were right in front of that .Missed us by that much.Maybe next time

Hey everyone! Cocktail shrink, we were right in front of the Carolina Panther van. I can't believe you were that close!!! Nice pics. I've got to get mine delivered and I'll have them put on disk. Not sure how many I have, probably not many. If anyone else has pics, please post! Thanks!

Good morning all!!

Another day and more positive news!!

Maria's white blood cell counts are rising again!!
Yesterday they were at 2.1.
Today they are 4.2
Her platelet numbers are moving on average ten points per day also.

Dr Gabriel told us last night that if she continues on this upward trend there is a possibility she can come home this Tuesday!! Which just so happens to be our 14th wedding anniversary!!
We have learned to not get too over zealous about anything until it's for certain but this time Maria's got one foot in the parking lot if you know what I mean!!

What's this got to do with Charlotte?
EVERYTHING!!
Because you ALL have been a part of this incredible ride!!

Thanks again for being there pholks!!

Remember, it's never too early to start another phlocking!!

I think it would be GREAT if we could all get together again when Maria is feeling well enough to join us!!! That would be the ultimate Phlocking!!! You'll have to let us know when the time is right and this time we'll do all the planning!!!!

That's why I said you tell us! We wouldn't want to push you or her. We want you both to relax and enjoy yourselves. We'll have to scout out a good place to phlock at, but the place won't matter, it's the people that matters!
