He did an HBO special many moons ago called "just words" or something like that. I thought that was good.
You're one who would appreciate John Valby....check him out:

Oh, I do...
He's actually playing a few gigs in the area here in the near future. I hear he's a riot live.
He is. And there's always a chance of women taking their shirts off...
As much as shirtless women offend my strict christian values, I just might take one for the team and check it out anyway.
I just wish he came to the midwest more often...
Valby is a riot.
I don't think too many people from the midwest know who he is.

He was originally cast as George Costanza but turned the role down
He later appeared on a episode as a doorman who has it in for Jerry.

I knew about the doorman, but did not know he was offered the role of George. Cool.
He also had a recurring role in Law and Order as a comedy club/restraunt owner who liked to kill his wives.

But my all time favorite was a ventriloquist, we went to see in this little comedy club in Boise Idaho. I laughed until I cried. Unfortunately, I am a dork and don't remember his name.

In no particular order
The entire original "Not Ready for Prime Time Players" on SNL (I'll include the old Steve Martin routines in that too)
Robin Williams
George Carlin
Bill Cosby
Wanda Sykes - saw her on Comedy Central after some abdominal surgery and had to turn it off, was afraid my stitches would let go.
Richard Pryor
Lewis Black
Most Canadian comedians - living close to Montreal I've seen a bunch of them live and they are almost universally funny.
GW - 7/19
Great Northern MOTM - 7/20-21
Hershey Labor Day Weekend Show - 8/29
MOTM - Oct 28
