As a follow up to ToplessRiderFL's dentist thread, how often do you go to the doctor (not counting when you are sick)?

At the ripe age of 24, I have not been since I was a sophomore in high school--except when I've been sick. I plan to change this soon--if I can just make myself. It's one of those things I'd much rather not do.

Once a year for the gyn extravaganza and on an as needed basis to any other Doc.

I used to go once a year to the gyn, til the dreaded 40 hit (he even said HAPPY 40th when he was "doing it.") I do go at least every two years, more like every 1 1/2-- I have to gear myself up! I go every 3 months to the GP though-- you must do that if you want klonopin!

I am home and today I have my "Star Trek Exam" as Dr. Mankarious will,

Yep.

i go all the time...usually they just sign me off because they are just physicals for sports and school

but i have a nasty stomach problem now so i go alot

klonopin can be our friend..

Every six months...but I love my Doctor and whenever I make an appt..? They schedule him out for at least an hour..as we spend half the time talking and catching up.....

And he writes my prescriptions for another 6 months...

Yearly gyn and all that other fun stuff......

Every 5 years or so, whether I need it or not

At least once a year for the girly check. Eye doctor once a year as well 'cause I'm near sighted as hell.

When ya get knocked ya get to go to the dr. a LOT.

Monthly till May 6th.

Every 4 months thereafter.

Twice a year for regular checkup and once every two years for the poke-em-scrape-it-squash-em gyn checkup. I know I should go every year, but DAD GUM IT, it HURTS !!!! The people who do the mammograms are sado-masochists, I think.

Gyn 1x a year, regular doc 1x 'cause he says he has to know what my neurologist is doing and my neurologist 2x a year for meds (I have migraines)

Once a year for maintenance for gyn/breast exam stuff (breast cancer reared it's ugly head in my family with my sister), otherwise, only as required by high fever or other immediate-concern stuff.

even though I've had a hysto - gyn still wants to see me every year (I think he likes to hear the echo ) - I'm about 6 mos. overdue for that one

boob squishing and ultrasound supposed to be every 6 mos. 'cuz of problems - over due about a year on that one.

Regular physical every year - just had that one

however, have been to the foot doctor more in the past month so I'm not looking forward to more visits to other docs........so once the rest of my body cooperates I'll go for my "normal" visits
