Phinmobile and crew will be attending. Expect to see the same setup as Cincy. We can't miss a hometown show!! I'm hoping to get ASH and Deansiu to come to town as well.

The tailgating is excellent, the only thing that keeps it from getting to Alpine level is the fact that the parking lot doesn't open until about 2pm (at least that was the case in past years) It's well worth the trip -- great acoustics and sightlines as well.

No idea when tickets go on sale yet....
I hope I can get tickets even though I'm going to cincy. I never thought he would seriously be back to Pine Knob....he hasnt been here since 2003. I hope I can score some pavilion because I wanna take my 6 year old.
I have seen many many Buffett shows at Pine Knob and I think the tailgating is 2nd to Cincy. I havent been to Alpine though and I hear that's great.

Well, I have tickets to Alpine because I never thought he would be back to Pine Knob either. I guess I will just have to hit both and do a tailgate comparison

I'm not sure how it will fit into the plan, but once the DPHC gets things together I am offering up my house for pre-show festivities, too. I'm about 3 minutes straight down Pine Knob Road ...close enough that we get to use the roads that are blocked off from concert traffic!

we are too!

There's a large group of us that is. Maybe we need to start talking about plans for caravans or something on the cincy thread. Although, if BadHabits gets to go to cincy, we might be coming back to indy after the show so we don't have that much of a drive the next day.

hi, long time listener, first time caller...
I soooooo hope we get tix for this lil ole get together. We are in Davison about a 1/2 hour north of the venue. As the time draws nearer, our house is also open for those northern type Parrotheads looking for a place to crash and "prepare" prior to 9/12.....
We need to make sure we keep in touch as to where abouts...we most likely will have a white truck with a pool in back and another truck carrying sand (what's water without sand I ask????) So glad he saw Michigan as being "worthy" enough for another trip.......

I have been to Alpine 2 times and the tailgating was AWSOME, how will DTE compare? What time do they let you in? Web says not till 4:30, but I think they say the same thing at Alpine. and I think we have always been in by 12. I dont want to miss any fun so I want to be there right on time

I plan on coming in from Canada for the show. OK, I'm only 2 hours away, but it sounds impressive, eh!
I was @ the Toronto show last year, well worth the $126CDN ticket price.

We will probably try and break things down the night before (HAH) and get up about 8 and start packing. Think we are stopping in Indy as a break and then mosey (hope u all got a speed type device) to Chicago.
Stay tuned for more details! =)
But as this thread says WHO IS GOING TO DETROIT!!
