I do think #'s 35,34,33,32 are funny, though...

That may be the most rediculous list ever. Look at number 50, that album was a great thing to happen to music. What do you expect from a "cool" magazine like Rolling Stone, I mean Blender.

The Van Halen stuff was funny.

i read what they said about parrotheads and im not quite sure what they meant
For millions, Jimmy Buffett isn't just a guy who writes songs about putzing around the Caribbean -- he's a shining symbol of the "good life." That so few of them will get any closer to this life than hanging out in a dank bar called the Banana Boat, wearing a Hawaiian shirt, sipping a frozen daiquiri and waiting for their turn to karaoke 'Margaritaville' is monumentally depressing.
how is haivng a fun party with your friends depressing?

On the plus side, there's a link to several pages of Parrothead-related Websites. As they say in Hollywood, "There's no such thing as bad publicity." :)

That's what I was thinking. I'd never heard of Blender until this list came out...now they have Buffett fans (and probably many others re. the rest of that list) talking about it.

Hmmm...I guess it would be like me listing "rap" music as the worst musical innovation ever...it's my opinion. It sounds like this idiot just doesn't like these things so he's naming them the 50 worst.
Anyone/thing that can give you the sense of fun take you away from what this country has become can't be a bad thing! :D

Any list that says Sting is bad and Freddie Mercury is great automatically goes on my pay no mind list. The Police and Sting's solo career have provided some great music, while Queen is possibly the most overrated band in history. Proof? "Radio Ga Ga" is one of their greatest hits.
So this clown lumping all Buffett fans in with his idea of someone he saw doing karaoke is not a surprise.
Some people just dont get it, which is just fine by me! :pirate:

Blender is a total joke of a magazine. Everytime they put out a best/worst list, it makes me want to slap somebody.

They actually sent me a car cd player once because they printed my letter slamming them for putting Limp Bizkit ahead of Metallica and Black Sabbath in their best metal cd's category.
Tryin' to tell myself that my condition is improvin' and if I don't die by Thursday, I'll be roarin' Friday night.
