"She Crab" soup
Okay, there's a resturaunt here at the place I'm staying in St. Thomas that serves a "She Crab" soup....it's HEAVENLY, but the chef won't give away the recipie....anyone got one? All I know is that it has crab, potatoes, celery, is a cream base with white wine....the rest is up to your imagination.... I GOTTA make this at home.
Enjoyed some near Beaufort once.
Here is what I found from Coastal Living.

She-crab Soup
Considered by many to be Charleston’s quintessential dish, the soup is so named because eggs from the female crab give it a unique taste. This creamy delicacy is almost always flavored with a generous helping of sherry.
