Sounds like excuses to me. .
It's early. . .Not going to say anything. . (even though it's 13-2

Always a Met fan 1st.....but my dad is a Red Sox fan....and loves to talk or complain about the sox.......so i follow them very closely and like them......is there a problem with that....so you don't need a schedule if you can remember that!!job41475 wrote:Oh I wasn's sure what day it was for you. I wasn't making excuses for the Yankees in case they lost.
All I was saying with the injuries was that with the Yankees and Red Sox as evenly matched as they are, if your opponent has arguably 3 of their best 6 players out, and another 4 playing hurt, you should beat them.
If you're a Sox fan coming into the series, you have to take 2 games at least and take advantage of the fact that the Yanks are nowhere near full strength. Because you'll be kicking yourself in September when you're struggling to get into the play-offs and every game (especially those against the Yankees) matters, and you look back and see a wasted opportunity.
If you're the Yankees, you need to take one or two games at home so that you stay with the Sox in the division and don't create a hole for yourself both in the division standings and head-to-head.

Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar

Well in your avatar you are decked out in Red Sox gear and yet you're a Mets fan. You've explained it, I just will never get it. I'm stubborn that way. I believe in liking one team and one team only.tequilatom wrote:off your meds???job41475 wrote:Oh I wasn't sure what day it was for you.
