John Henry is the principle owner of the team which mean she has final say in how the money is spent. Luchinno is team Pres and CEO, Werner is the Chairman and they both have smal ownership in the team. As do 15 other people and companies including the NY Times who own 20% of the Red Sox.

Tomorrow David Paulie starts for the Red Sox :-? A Paulie trying to beat someone in NY, how serendipitous.

Last night was definately one for the ages.
I think the last time the Yankees, Cubs, and CEDAR RAPIDS KERNELS all won on the same day, I hadn't started shaving yet.

I told a friend of mine that the Yankees were embarrassed at letting a team like Baltimore to get 10 runs so they took it out on the Red Sox last night.

just got back home...Wow, what a game. Could've went either way. Tremendous defensive plays from Phillips and of course Melky's grab. Excellent, excellent game. that Pauly guy showed me something and even though the Sox got to Wang it seemed like every inning only one crossed. again. thanks in large part to the aforementioned defensive plays. Manny trying to stretch that one into a double was a weird choice too...It was a crowded but fantastic ride home......

on Damons arm....not a bad gamble........he just made a perfect throw!!!....a faster guy might have made it!!....great game....great catch....wrong outcome......it's to bad the winning run was set up by a check swing ground ball the pitcher should of had!!....but those are the breaks!!

I see I missed a lot while I was gone. Like clockwork I see a couple of new faces chime in with a couple of Yankee wins (cough cough Matt and Karin) :D.

:-? Technically I "showed up" before the Yankees won. .

It was a good game last night. . everyone thought Pauley would implode. . but he pitched a great game. (almost felt a little bad for him. . !)

Damon had a Great line during the Post game interview when asked what he thought about throwing out Manny.

Damon said "Yeah, it felt great...Manny wasn't there to cut the ball off this time" . . :D

I don't know what was more surprising, David Paulie pitching well or Giambroid not getting a curtain call after the bases loaded walk.

It just warms my heart to see my Sox buddies back to their bitter loser selves. :D
Or looser if you prefer.

Francoma let this one get away. Pauley pitched a GREAT game and then got hung out to dry when he tired. Why does it seem like Francoma has become so reluctant to pull starters when they get into the 7th?

and even worse bring in Seanez with the bases loaded.... :-? There was not any doubt in my mind Seanez would walk in that run...

the look on Manny's face ( once I got home and saw it on the tV) was priceless when Melky caught that ball...
