As a member of the ONLY Wisconsin Air Force Reserve base, I was deployed along with 80 of my closest comrades from the 34th Aerial Port Squadron. Granted we weren't in Baghdad, however, we still served our dues over in the Middle East. As a PH, It was a true honor to hear about Mortaritaville.... and how our sister services worshipped JB. We had several people come through with shark tales 'taped' to their M16... many had JB memoribilia awaiting for that special moment.

Every little bit helps!!!!!!

I saw where one of the posts requested tropical shirts for the event...

Must these shirts be new or can they be second-hand? I can weed some out of my non-PH boyfriend's closet without him even noticing (or caring)! I keep buying them for him and they keep finding their way to the back of the closet...If they could be used, I'll be more than happy to send them.

Thanks!

As long as they're in good shape and clean, that should be fine.

Your boyfriend sounds a bit on the hopeless side, BTW  ...at least as far as Buffett is concerned....

I just emailed all the listers on parrotheadsatwork.com - some are posters here and some are not. For those "duplicates" my apologies. Just thought it was another way to get the word out as quickly as possible :D :D

FINS UP and many thanks to Key Lime Lee. At Quiet and Shy's request, he updated the logo design for this year's event.
As some here will recall, he created last year's logo from scratch. The guy has some serious talent and we are lucky to have his help.

Here's a preview of this year's design;

THANK YOU LEE!!!
It was a pleasure and a hell of an evening
Truly was our night to win
But the authorities insist on my leaving
Take care my American friend

Hey Alison - you can update page 1 :-)
Jim Gordon here. It's been a while and I hope all is well on your end. I passed along your request to my publishing folks. We'll be sending a box of my new book, CARIBBEAN CALLING ( sequel to ISLAND BOUND ) out for Mortaritaville. I think there are 42 in a box. I'll even try to sign them.

Where can we send them? They have an account with fed ex, must it be UPS?

And we can get our copy here: http://www.redenginepress.com/buy_caribbean_calling.htm

With all the rain we had over the weekend, I started burning my CDs. I probably have about 20-25 of my 50 done. I brought some of them to the office today because, anal retentive freak that I am, I want to listen to all of them to make sure everything is OK before I send them out.
