This morning I started my shift as usual as a Paramedic in Boise, Idaho. We were sitting in the station chatting when a citizen came in to tell us about a mother duck that was going crazy and running out in traffic because her babies had fallen down a storm drain. We tried calling animal control and Fish and Game but to no avail. So we hopped in our ambulance and headed out to the intersection. We were able to remove all of the babies from the drain and reunite them with their parents!!!!! How's that for a great way to start your day off?!?
I do it for the stories I can tell!!!
