A friend of mine who volunteers as an usher at a couple of theaters in Berkeley, CA says she's seen a schedule with Jimmy at the Greek Theater on 10/18. The Greek holds 8,000 people, so it's in line with the "smaller shows" philosophy, and it's two days before the first Vegas show, so this definitely sounds plausible, as the Mythbusters would say.

OK I am confused ... a. The Greek Theater in LA is in Griffith Park, not Hollywood and b. Lorens friend works in The Peoples Republic of Berkeley which has its own Greek Theater ... :-?

Yes, there are two Greek Theaters.

No, I don't know whether the lines of communication are getting jumbled on this. That's the thing about rumors. :) However, I'd find it hard to believe that the Greek in LA would be looking for ushers in the Bay Area.

I'll just keep my fingers crossed...

I had lunch today with a friend of mine who definitely would know about this and she told me that the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Irvine has Sept.26-Oct. 6 held for Buffett. Since he is playing HI Oct. 4. my money would be on Sat. 9/29! 8)

The ticket Broker I bought my tickets from this morning is showing a 2nd Irvine show on 10/29. That would be a Monday, so it is probably a screw up, but who knows. They are showing Lawn seats for $81.00.

If he gets to Australia - Adelaide most likely would not be a stop.

All our PH events are held in NSW and Queensland - so my guess is he would go where the known fan base is.

I'm actually hopeful for a Midwest leg like he did this year. Due to our son being born I couldn't swing leaving for a week like that with a newborn at home. 4 shows Saturday - Saturday all with 5 hour drives between them. SWEET HEAVEN!
