Still hope for Nashville or Memphis.

I heard he was gonna be in Nashville on April 31.

Was checking out out their website last month. That looks like an AWESOME venue....although too small for a current Jimmy tour stop? (they list capacity at 9450) Jimmy last played there in 1990. But maybe it's big enough for a Freddy tour stop.

Of the dates for the most recent shows at the Pepsi Center, two of the three are open and are either a Tuesday or Thursday. Of course the playoff schedules for Hockey...and dare I say it, Basketball?...haven't been set yet.

As for Red Rocks, I don't see Jimmy's popularity dropping so much that the promoters wish him to play at such a smaller venue. Jimmy hasn't played there since 1990.

Red Rocks: 9,450
Pepsi Center: 19,309 (basketball set-up, no floor seats included in this number)

10,000 seats = 10,000 tickets = $700,000....at least

I'd be happy w/ the Pepsi Center (I have some good contacts there because of my wedding).

With my luck, he'll play there sometime May 20-24 because that is when hubby is out of town for a work conference.

I think the Waikiki Shell only holds about 10,000.

Were ticket prices there about the same as bigger venues?

Of course, one of the perks of playing there is that on your day off, you're in Waikiki. That could be a factor, too. :D

I went to the Hawaii show in 2005 and I'm pretty sure tickets were the same price as other venues.

any body recall the prices for the Santa Barbara Bowl show from this year? It holds, like 4400, right?

I'm not saying Red Rocks wouldn't be cool, I just don't see it happening.

Mal, if the hubby is out of town for the Pepsi Center show you can hang out with me.....like we wouldn't have a bunch of peole hanging together. I know you're saying that it would s*** without him, but that doesn't mean you wouldn't go, does it?

Plus you're talking about traveling to a show this year, right? Great Woods or Dallas, those are my thoughts for this year.

Yes, they were about the same, and Waikiki cost less than Mohegan Sun and Vegas...

Oh, I'll be hanging out with you and everyone else. I have major BN paybacks to do for anyone who comes from out of town.

These may be more than rumours. My friend works for a music company in Canada and the info may be very accurate. I told my friend I would not reveal any confidential information, and I was told not to worry about it. Reveal all I want!!

Can't wait to hear the scoop...if I can atleast get an idea of the month/week of when and where he'll be then I can start planning the tailgate!
