Oh you mean....a rule in property law which prohibits a contingent grant or will from vesting outside a certain period of time, right?

THANKS for that, you two!! I'm probably gonna have nightmares tonight!! That, along with Civil Procedure and Criminal Process, are some of the things that I've tried so hard to forget over the past 20 years!!!!!!!!!

I'd much rather think about going to Vegas in October!!

In my Bar review class the prof said "When you get to a question involving the Rule against perpetuities, you will say 'aha this is a question involving the Rule against perpetuities' then simply mark (B) for bull**** and move on"

Ah, but there are no "simple answers", only a multitude of shades of gray. Or to quote my Criminal Process prof: "There is no sense in any of this."

and to think last night when my wireless dropped I was upset  I missed out on all the legal jargon, sorry I said a thing.

how many days do we have now? Until the concert that is, I suppose we're departing for Vegas on different days, and I can adjust from Saturday to my day easily enough. (of course I could also look at the calendar  )

My evidence prof. always said "you can make anything relevant if you are creative enough!"

Hey Tracey - my property prof. taught us a song to help remember the perpetuities crap. (Yea, I kind of went to a party school). Anyway if you get me drunk enough in Vegas I can probably sing it for you! [smilie=whistle.gif]

Check out the entertainment at Margaritville for Friday night the 20th.

STREET PARTIES RETURN TO VEGAS!
When Jimmy's in town, you know there's a party! This year the famous Vegas street parties will be better than ever. On October 21st and 28th we'll be turning the street into a beach, complete with sand and live entertainment! Plus be sure to check out Nadirah Shakoor live on the Margaritaville main stage with special guests The Coral Reefers on Friday, October 20th!

We were planning to go to the LMS party but this sounds like a blast.

you're going to give up Fingers Taylor for Nadirah....that's cool, I understand that. it's a tough choice, but I've already paid for my LMS entrance, decision made. Plus going to LMS helps out the LVPHC, thereby helping out “Christmas for Foster Kids”.
