Greetings all, happy Memorial Day!! I have a question regarding a couple of lawn tickets I bought for the Camden show in August that I hope someone would be able to answer.
Without boring you all with the whole story, I found someone selling lawn seats on Craigslist.com. I had a friend of mine (non-parrothead) meet him to buy the tickets for me , since I lived nowhere near the seller. Well, my buddy gave me the tickets yesterday and I have never seen a Buffett ticket like this. It has a silver hologram line running down the center of the ticket. Underneath all of the printing it says "music sounds better on the grass" and has a picture of people sitting in the lawn section watching a show. It has the usual printing on it (i.e. M'ville tequila presents Jimmy Buffett...). On the back it has a "next tickets" logo repeated with the usual concert disclaimers. It doesn't mention ticketmaster anywhere on the ticket. I was able to get two lawn tickets through ticketmaster and these two look nothing like them.
The point of this rambling is that I wondering if I just wasted 200 beans on bogus tickets. My buddy said the seller showed him a receipt and was a nice guy, but I am still skeptical. Does anyone out there in Parrot land have tickets like these that they purchased through an actual ticket outlet? Do these tickets seem fake?

It sounds very similar to the tickets that I had for fenway park which were leigitimate. Next tickets are kinda different looking than the ticketmaster ones, But if next tickets are selling tickets to the show... or did before they sold out, you are more than likely fine
Both shows at Greatwoods in June
Seattle and Vegas in October
Girlfriend doesn't realize that shes going to be a parrothead by the end of this summer whether she likes it or not.
