My friend says that it has one of the best collections of Impressionist art, but I think she may be combining/confusing it with the Musee D'Orsay. Rodin Musee does have a collection from some of his Impressionist friends, but D'Orsay has a much larger one, I believe.

D'Orsay is THE impressionist/modern art Museum...... It is free on the first Sunday of the month (but get there early because when they say it is closing at 5pm they mean everybody is cleared out by 5pm....). I personally skipped the main floor and went straight to the Impressionist paintings section.....Unbelievable!!! Pictures Do not do it justice!!!!

The weather was a VERY nice suprise as the forecast was for high sixties and rain on Wednesday. No rain and it was in the 80's - THAT made me happy :D Normandy was overcast and a bit chilly - but somehow THAT was fitting.

I was in Brittany (by Normandy) once, so they tell me...it was too foggy to know.... :roll: :lol:
