Junk Food Night

It's been a long week. My house is a disaster. My kitchen floor is cracking. Hubby has pulled 2 all-nighters this week, plus 1 more tonight, trying to meet a deadline. The kids have been sick, injured, depressed (whooda thunk a kid would be sad because school is out for summer?). My day care lady's aunt died so hubby and I have been scrambling to find day care for Tony all week.
So, tonight I instituted "junk food night." We have hardly any food in the house because I haven't had the chance to go grocery shopping, so when I picked Tony up from my sister's we went to the grocery store to stock up on microwaveable food.
My dinner: Jalapeno poppers (cream cheese variety), pepsi, and Drumsticks.
Hubby: Hot pockets and raspberry/dark chocolate chip ice cream.
Tony: Kids Cuisine (is that really food??) I had never bought one before.
Victoria: Sleeping over at grandma's so I didn't have to feed her.
I had a large, late lunch so I'm just settling down with my munchies and the 'lil one is bed.
Calgon..........take me away...................

Grocery night for me, so I stopped and got takeout Chinese
and I now have a bowl of Heath Icecream ( I think Bryers)
((((Whole Fam Damily))) I hope everything gets Normal...

((((Mal and Matt and keets)))))
Good thing that most of these things are short term problems.. Well, 'cept the kitchen floor.
But junk food is the best for quick 'meals' and take away that hunger.
I'm a junk foodaholic.
And Kids Cuisine will do in a pinch. Most kids love it.
Can well all join you in the tub??

I hear you! I messed up my back on Saturday, then have had headache issues for the last 2 days- last night I had brown rice with butter, sugar and cinnamon (Tom tried to cook- unfortunately it was gross- but he did try), then I wasn't hungry tonight, so I ended up with fruit snacks for dinner. But hey- only 5 months to get into wedding dress shape, right?

So this is normal behavior????
I was actually just gonna have the Drumsticks and Pepsi for dinner, but hubby was getting Hot Pockets and I saw my coveted Poppers. I can hardly ever find the cream cheese kind; it's usually the cheddar kind.
Don't tell anyone, but I think I'm gonna have more than one of those Drumsticks (pack of 4).

That seems entirely reasonable to me!
We usually have the fail-safe mac-n-cheese handy, heat up some veggies, and boil some rice in a pinch. But we have NADA in the house.
Really yucky thing is we're out of milk, too, and we completely spaced getting some at the store. So now I have to go back.
I'm awfully fond of the "bowl of cereal for dinner" dinner.

Now? Any neighbor you can borrow from for the night and go tomorrow?

Wanna make it worse? Substitute the PB with Nutella (chocolate hazelnut), and add the PB to the ice cream (with or without the fudge)...
