Great concert in Alanta!!!

Post by sunseeker »

I have to admit...I arrived in Atlanta with hesitations that nothing could top my experience at Hoot Island.

1. I have found the equivalent to the east coast Pharms. Rick and Nicole are TWO of the BEST people that i have met. They have treated me and Connie with open arms and as if we are long lost family members!!! They truly truly ROCK!

2. The Dawg Pound tailgate oranized by dawgfan was truly AWESOME!! While it was more intimate then Hoot Island, it was a blast and I had as much fun ( or if not more fun) because I was able to really talk and get to know BN's more intimately :wench: ...Bwwaaaahaaaaaahaaaaaaa...Thank you sooooooo much dawgfan for the fun! It was an experience I will never ever forget and I have pics to prove it!!! (BTW...please never ever show that pne pic YOU took...to anyone!!!) I loved meeting you and your wife!!!!

3. Jay and Kevin...and you guys next to us!!! I'll see you guys in Charlotte.....Thank you for letting me crash ya'lls tailgate! It was fun messing with the virgin!!!

4. Drunk Dials to hoot island folk are fun!

5. Being HSV's wingman was fun!!! Kev I'll email you the pics...

6. Cuervo...we missed you...but there will be other shows.....see you on the flipside...or maybe Florida....

7. The concert....thanks to a very special BN'er ( you know who you are) i was able to have amazing seats and actually SEE Jimmy. I will never ever be able to repay you for the experience that I had at this show. Jimmy's energy was amazing.....the electricity that was felt wasn't caused by the rain storm. Sitting there with my newest family members...and all huddling in a group hug DURING EVERY SONG....was an experince that could not be topped....I can't even describe to you the feelings I felt during "A Pirate looks at 40".....Steve (CNF) i am sooo glad you were there to share that experience with us.

I'm sorry to those out on the lawn that felt like they were endangered by lightening during the show....I don't remember it lightening after we headed into the show (YES it WAS very scary in the lot for about an hour beforehand with lightening popping off of everything)....yes it was RAINING ...and I was soaked from dancing in the parking lot with my new friends... so even though I had covered seats, I feel your pain about being cold and wet. But i will tell you that it wasn't an experience that I would not trade for anything.

the Dawgpound and the show will never be topped in my book

Lots of love to all!!!

Great pics! Thanks for sharing!! :D

Looks like the weather was decent for a bunch of the tailgate time...too bad it didn't hold.

Anyway, Palmetta seems to have done okay for her first gig, and I just love the pic of the little duckies in a row....

What Pebbles said about A Pirate Looks at 40...

Last couple of shows I've been to when Jimmy brings out the guitar and plays APLA40, it's been the best part of the show. To me he seems to share so much gratitude to his fans and love for life. Very cool experience.

Great Pics Dawg!

I assure each and everyone of you that I am so sorry to have missed all the phun. I just decided to hang out in the pool and admire tattoos on the lovely ladies that were with me in the pool.

If in my absence from this tailgating I have offended anyone I would like to apologize at this time.

Sorry I cannot identify anyone in those pics but since I was not there how could I.

One pic did have someone that I thought might be ragtopW but he said he could not make the show. (and why would he be standing in a bucket of peanuts?)

Oh no... you've been recruited. Just keep in mind where that line is and let Kev sail on by.

I just haven't seen him around today on the board...must have stayed.

And, from your pictures, I see that there was a 'Bame fan there too....
