just an FYI on some info I got back from 'the Bank'

JC,
The lots are scheduled to open at approximately 4:00. Buffett provides tailgating until 6:30, and then we will be closing down the parties and sending everyone to the gates (yes, we have to be the party poopers!) I hope this helps enjoy the show!

I planning a trip to the Buffett show at Midwest in August. Can you give me a estimate of when the parking lots will open for this event. In years past, it has been mid afternoon and I wondered if that would remain the same? Also, I understand that the town of Tinley Park has ordinances against drinking in the parking lots, but in years past this has been overlooked. Is it safe to assume this will be the case again this year?

17 days!!

Sorry I have been MIA for the past week or so, we just moved to a new house on friday. It has been a crazy whirlwind of boxes since then. Plus I dont have internet yet hooked up at home. But able to connect at work.

Sounds like the plans are meeting up at Holiday Inn to enjoy the festivities 12 - 4, then heading on over to the parking lot to tailgate as soon as it opens. I will update pg. 1

Im getting soo excited, I need a vacation.

The directions to the Mac show and the Cubs game are a little confusing for me...

If we are staying in Joliet, is there transportation to get to just the Mac show and back???

Which Motel 6 are you staying at in Joliet... there are 2.... Party friday night at the hotel! WOO HOO!!! (after mac of course!)

welcome...and sure thing everyone is invited...just make sure you introduce yourself. A lot of us will be wearing nametags with our Buffettnews names on it...or just look for the crazy lady in a Tiki Bar
