The other day I was at my favorite Mexican restaurant....it's called McDonald's....no one there spoke English.....I had to point to a number three combo.....

I like to go places where the employees speak the same language I do, especially when I am in my native land.....more people spoke English in restaurants when I was in France than they do here....

We're always being told if we travel overseas we should learn a few key phrases in the language of whatever country we're going to out of respect for the people there. Why can't foreigners who come here do the same?

And if you're in Philadelphia, a key phrase would cetainly be "steak and cheese." Right up there with "Liberty Bell."

And I did see where they were helping out if the customer didn't speak English, so thats nice
