The other day I was at my favorite Mexican restaurant....it's called McDonald's....no one there spoke English.....I had to point to a number three combo.....

I like to go places where the employees speak the same language I do, especially when I am in my native land.....more people spoke English in restaurants when I was in France than they do here....

We're always being told if we travel overseas we should learn a few key phrases in the language of whatever country we're going to out of respect for the people there. Why can't foreigners who come here do the same?

And I did see where they were helping out if the customer didn't speak English, so thats nice :)
