Cross Canadian Ragweed

Post by Cocktail Shrink »

I got turned onto these guys about 3 months ago and I can not get enough of them. I haven't heard a bad song yet. I highly recommend checking them out if you haven't already.

I agree! :D

The new cd "Garage" is good. I love the tribute to "Dimebag" and the Todd Snider cover "Up All Night".

EEerr..that would be Oklahoma brand of southern rock....

Cains Ballroom is where swing pretty much originated...Lots of history in those walls...

I'm not a country music fan...but Hank Williams (no not Jr.) and all the country performers of that day..played Cains..(they say it's haunted..?)

Kenny Wayne Shepherd opened there for Leon Russell..GREAT place to see either of them.

there's a pretty funny story about how they got their name, too.....

XM plays them a lot on their X country station. They are great. They are one of about a dozen bands I've discovered since I got Sat Radio.

I first heard "Carney Man" on their "Live @ Billy Bob's" album. The tune stuck in my head. I kept humming it for weeks.
