Many musicians have them. I saw Billy Joel a few months ago in Phili and I had a view from behind the stage and he had one. I would not be surprised at all if JB had one either- but question is how often does he need to go to it?

I've seen it at three shows since last fall in Vegas, but I haven't seen Jimmy use it all that much.....

And I'd bet good money that none of US could get through 20-odd JB songs without blowing the lyrics.... I know I couldn't.....

I've read or heard, on more than one occasion, JB say that he'll keep touring until he needs a TelePromptEr, like Sinatra did at the end..
then, it's time to hang it up.
Has it really come to this?

The only time at Cincy where I noticed him really focused on it was during "Werewolves of London".

who cares if hes using one.it is intersting considering what hes always said about them,i think its funny.

He uses a teleprompter for dancing Left foot, right foot, left foot, left foot, toes in toes out heels up heel down

That's a good point. That song is more like a short story than a song!

i dunno he seems to miss a lot of verse's to be reading a teleprompter, not that i can blame him i have a hard time remembering what day it is, but on the fenway disc for example southern cross is all messed up.

People, let us not forget that this guy "smoked a ton of dope and went totally crazy" for a little while. Got to think that his brain is fried to some degree. If anything, it establishes that he wants to give the attendees a good show and not one filled with senoir moments.

Just wait until he starts to lip sync!

...boy, I hope he uses one, or some other aid when he feels he needs it

...and i hope he comes onstage using a walker if he ever needs to...who cares as long as he keeps singing!!!

....and then we might get more solo accoustic performances of his many rarely played songs.......and less shouting and bouncing around
