I used to be able to do it...is this something you lose w/age

I voted yes, cuz I used to do it all the time... then I tried, and I can't do it anymore! Not gonna give up trying though!

Self taught in 7th grade Math class - the reason I remember is my Math Teacher was behind me when I did it - I can still feel the slap he give me on the back of my head. but I still can do it. I can also open one side to make it sound like a owl

I used to be able to do that -- whistle with a blade of grass -- but I don't think I could do it now. You have to keep some tension on the grass, and my arthritic meat-hooks probably couldn't achieve that level of manual dexterity.

The "owl call" is a different sound, like blowing across a coke bottle.
