In the crowd for Game 3 here, Buffett flew back home Saturday night, after attending the England-Trinidad and Tobago match.

Now, he's putting his money into the Kinky Friedman campaign fund for Texas governor.

"I've known Kinky a long time," said Buffett. "Since we were all hanging out, working together in Austin during the '70s."
