So, I'm in a local theatre production and one of the keets (10 -11 yr old) in the cast sees my SPOL tour T-shirt and asks "Is Jimmy Buffett the guy that sings Margaritaville"? Always happy to educate the younguns about Jimmy I said yes. His next question was "Is he still alive??" I cracked up.
I told him how old Jimmy was and he said "And he's still touring????"

I know what you mean! And did you know that Paul McCartney was in the BEATLES?????

On Christmas day, we were also celebrating my cousins birthday. My 6 year old keet spoke up and said, "do you know who else has a birthday today?" Everyone was like what a good boy, he is going to mention Jesus...then my son pipes up and says, " JIMMY BUFFETT"! I was one proud parent at that point!! HA!

These guys are in great shape, they look great sound awesome and still know how to do a show. Wherever they tour, they leave a footprint for a long time.
