Excellent link Sam. That little girl choked me up.

But I have one, slightly flip question. What are they doing to that donkey? :)

Thanks for the link. I have passed it on.

Yeah I noticed something in the air seems to get into my eyes everytime I see her...
To answer your "flip question" ....they were topping off the donkey/burro in the "Daily Iraq Desert Donkey/Burro Race". It was brought in for a pit stop.... what do you think they run off of ....hay? 8) :D Seriously they were filling up water bags. so not a "flip question" at all. Good drinking water is/has been, hard to find over there., so our troops supply the Iraqis with it. 8)

Most welcome for the link and for sharing it. A JOB WELL DONE and cold adult beverage of choice to you.

Everyone should see it at least once......I would hope that they do.
I think it was a most outanding JOB WELL DONE by the person that made it and in the music piece selected for it.

That video was really interesting. People say that in order to be patriotic/supportive of our troops, one has to support the war. I disagree. I am extremely supportive of those that sacrifice themselves for America, our amazing troops, but I do not support the reasons for the war. Does that make sense? I hope I am not going to get flamed! WHen I saw many of those soliders, I noticed the wedding rings and I thought of the families at home and that made me so very sad...for them, for their families, for what they are facing in Iraq, for the difficulties they will likely have when they return from war...good lord....it's overwhelming, and that video just drives that point home.

Of course it makes sense! God bless people like you who have the integrity to disagree with the administration's decisions but support the troops anyway!!

I think where this country went seriously wrong over Vietnam was when the guys and gals coming home were sh*t on because people disagreed with the war.....

The troops deserve every American's support, whether or not you agree with the war....

(Please note that I have voiced no opinion for or against the war, only in support of the troops. As a member of the military, I don't get a public opinion.....)

Makes perfect sense. And there's millions more who feel the same way, they just might not be as vocal as those who think otherwise. With the all-volunteer defense, I can't imagine joining these days, not knowing what s*** you'll get thrown into. And yet they still join, and I'm glad they do. Much braver than I could ever be.

Great video, btw!

Most welcome.

I got it from a friend who is currently in Germany and her Hubby is in Iraq and with any luck, he will make the BuffettFest this year. IF (NOTE BIG IF) he is not having to go out that day.
They became proud parents of a baby girl on 15 June.
