we went to a potluck that wasn't very well attended. i brought Lower Alabama Caviar (from Lulu's cook book), someone else brought an orzo dish, and someone brought chips... and that was it :-?

on the bright side we stopped at St James Tavern on the way home and i had a Nitro Milk Stout (one of my most recent favorites). I also got to try the first 'for sale' batch from a local brewery - Seventh Son Strong Ale. it was very tasty :D

Leftover chicken. Leftover carmerlized plantain. Diced up the chicken
and heated it up with some oil and REALLY HOT sauce. Added the
plantain. Put it in some warmed-up tortillas with some shredded
cheese and ranch dressing. Couldn't stop eating them! Funny what you
can do with some leftovers and imagination. :pirate:
