The Liberty Bowl has sent out invites to various Homecoming queens across the country to participate in pre-game and halftime festivities. I found out that one of my client's daughters will be participating, Miss Bianca Zdenek!

Also, the halftime entertainer will be LeAnn Rimes! [smilie=coolup.gif]

I have seen some horrible halftime shows at bowls through the years..

1999 Sugar bowl- John Goodman and some really crappy gospel quartet, come on this the Natl Champ game, being played in New Orleans! get a good New Orleans jazz band at the very least!!

2002 Orange bowl? Nick Lachehe and Jessica Simpson.

sounds like you should stay home.. every time you go to a bowl game, the fans get saddled with a lousy half-time act.. :D

I dont' know about that. Jessica could have done here "tuna....or chicken?" routine for 20 minutes. I would have been thoroughly entertained.

I am sorry... no. cute she may be, but just as water seeks a uniform level, exposure to Jessica Simpson could render Stephen Hawking a room-temp IQ..

I think Jessica's favorite Stephen Hawking book is "Carrie".

Has there been an annoucement for the championship halftime show? I've seen Prince is doing the Super Bowl, but nothing on the college game.

Time for the Mountain West fans to start pounding their chests after 2 big wins to open the Bowl season. No big surprise in the Poinsettia Bowl but I would have thought the Quackers would have shown more against BYU.

The Ducks looked like a team that didn't want to be there last night.

That's the unfortunate thing about the Bowl season....some teams DEFINITELY give that impression. And it can take what you think will be a great matchup and turn the game ugly!! With the way the Ducks limped to the finish line in the regular season, you figured either they'd come out like gangbusters to get the bad taste out of their mouth or they'd come to Vegas, check out the Strip & some clubs and roll over on the field. Obviously, the latter! :-?

I think it just shows how weak the PAC really is. I think its a joke. They have one decent team, and all the others are a media-hyped weakness. I can't wait for Michigan to play USC! I hate Michigan, but they will wipe the floor with USC.
