WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

C...........................A............................T...............................S
CATS!
CATS!
CATS!

HOW 'BOUT THEM WILDCATS!

This will go far in convincing doubters of the strength of the SEC. The score did not at all show how bad 'Tucky thumped Clemson. When one of the worst teams in your conference beats one of the best in the ACC, then that sends a message!

CONGRATS TO MY 2ND FAVORITE TEAM............THE KENTUCKY WILDCATS!

C'mon B.R., don't be such a page hog!! Didn't get to see it but sounds like the Cats did a nice job. Clemson though....they have to be one of the biggest mysteries in college football year after year.
Oh by the way B.R., I'm sure you watched Bama get their butts spanked yesterday by Oklahoma State so don't go singing the almighty SEC praises just yet.

Hope you and yours enjoy New Years in the Big O!!

Congrats Gamecocks! Houston came out and played a hell of a game.

Now the SEC is 2-1. We've got 6 games left. Need to win at least 4 of them.

As much as it pains me to say this............

GO 'DAWGS!!!

Sorry Bob, and Keith and anyone else who is a Georgia supporter.

I was raised 45 minutes from Va Tech, my High School even had the

same colors, so I must inform you that ......

The "Hokies" will make the "Dawgs" look like "JOKE'YS"

they musta bought some great SATs, because THAT was a much improved showing by the Cal Bears, than the game they mailed in two years ago.
It was SOOO clear from my view in the upper deck of the Q, that Cal was a superior team, I left just before the end of the 3rd quarter :-?
Game over.... and OUT!

A shame it was, too, because we met a lot of cool people from A&M who travelled out for this Holiday Bowl, and ..
even though they were without the super-babe cheerleaders that the Pac-10 schools bring 8) :P
it was ALSO clear that A&M brought the most most spirit to the game.

For the first half, at least, it was a lot of fun to watch! :P

I was wondering why they didn't pick Texas Tech over Minnesota, then I remembered that game was carried by the NFL Network.

You're tellin' me. I have no excuses......we just sucked in Nashville. It was just.......bad. Oh well.

Ironically, our normally terrible basketball team is in the top 25 and is undefeated (no ACC games yet, though.....) So yay for basketball season!!

Even though this season ended in bitter disappointment for us, I will still stand by my team and end this with a big GOOOOO TIGERS!!!! Win or lose, my blood will ALWAYS runneth orange.

Rumor has it that Central Michigan is looking at WVU's Butch Jones for coach.
http://www.dailymail.com/story/Sports/+ ... -Trickett/ (scroll to the bottom)

Starting to pack for my trip to Jacksonville! Leaving on Friday, staying in Charlotte.
Butch Jones was a long-time assistant at CMU, including many of the "dark years". Our interim coach is now gone, so I think Jones might be the favorite now. Some think our AD is dragging his feet in hiring a new coach, I think he's waiting for the new guy's bowl game to be played first (whomever that may be) as to avoid any conflict of interest. Who said ethics and college football don't mix?
