First off, a little dissapointed by the crowd at the CMU BC game. Brian Kelly might have called the craziest game I have ever seen. A couple of horrible decsions. Had a chance to hang with an ACC team and took his team out of it.
But now the season is here. Let the fun begin.

Bizzare decisions indeed. It's like he wasn't trying to
actually win the game....just get his players experience in certain situations. For one thing, if he would have stuck with LeFevour at QB their chances would have been greatly improved. He passed the ball twice with the 3rd string QB when they had it 2nd and 1 on the 2 in the first half and settled for a FG. The fake punt/forgot what down it was situation in the first half was crazy. The stupid allignment on their final offensive play of the game was

!
By the way, was anyone able to stay awake thoughout the USC/MSU game zzzz?? PhnSC????

In his post game conference, Kelly said the decision to go for it on 4th & 8 was a set play...wtf? You just passed up a chance on 4th & 1 at midfield, to try that? I still think somebody lost track of downs.
A very winnable game screwed up by coaching mistakes

I agree. Looked like a BIG mistake to me. #1 could have caught a few more of the balls thrown his way too.

I agree with you to a point. Our offense could get nothing going last night!! We lost a starting lineman on Wed to rules violations, and the rest of our Oline are either freshman or Soph. So I was expecting alot of pressure from MSU big 4. When our starting QB went down, I thought our year was over. All we have is a true freshman as 2nd string. He is good, but he wasnt ready for last night!! Our defense played strong last night, which was a big surprise!! Only 1 starter returning on D!! It was the first game, and we did the same thing last year in game 1. Got a road win in the SEC, now its time to come home for 4 straight, and hopefully be ready for UGA!!!
OH, and btw!!! GO BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!

No doubt....A conference "W" on the road is big no matter what. And disaster was definitely on the horizon if Mitchell was all done. Hey, you got the best record in the country so you can't sneeze at that!!

Alright.............Are you all ready for this?................
In Tennessee's hopeful victory over Cal tommorrow on Rocky Top, sophmore Arian Foster will gain more rushing yards than Heisman Trophy candidate Marshawn Lynch.......mark my word!
Are the golden boy's of Cali ready for Rocky Top on a Saturday night?

Yeah, if Mitchell would have been hurt, our season would have been lost. Smelley the backup is going to be a good one, but just not ready for it yet. He did lead a good drive to get us a FG though.
I am ready to watch my other team tomorrow. Hope our boys in Ann Arbor have gotten last year out of their minds!!!
Oh, I will send you a PM back tomorrow with all the info you asked for!!

Gamecock, I thought I liked you. You're a fan of the SEC and all. But Michigan? An SEC fan cheering for Michigan. It can't be. There's gotta be some Comandment for it. Come on, man! I will say this though........I didn't know that there was a Michigan fan out there worth a grain of salt until I met Dr. Corona this summer. He's a pretty cool guy, although I'm pulling hard today for our fellow SEC representative Vandy! Go 'Dores!

Don't tell your fellow Gamecocks that you were actually congratulating a Tiger.....they'll kick you out of the roost.

I agree that our game is better when both teams are better.....guess we'll see what happens come Nov. What do you think about them moving our game to the Sat. after Thanksgiving? I wasn't too thrilled about it myself. We have to cut our TG travel short to come back for the game.
