Where's George?
Has anybody gotten and entered a Where's George dollar bill or Where's Willy (Canadian currency) at http://www.wheresgeorge.com ?
I just tried it yesterday. Got my dollar at a Cracker Barrel near I-75 so I thought for sure it must have been well traveled, but mine was the first entry for it.

About 4 years ago I got one from a school project in Freemont, Nebraska. It went up into Wisconsin and then ended up in Ohio. I have not had any further notices and frankly forgot all about this.
My wife is thinking about doing it in her classes

I would have thought they'd have entered it when they started out. I guess you just send them out and hope someone does something with it.
I think I'm gonna go spend it at Arby's.
Oh man, I should have sent it with hubby whose going to Nashville today. (hijacking own thread: He's gonna see Dr. Phil tonight at the National YMCA convention.) Wish I'd thought of that!!!

OK I'm confused - not hard I know
I entered in serial numbers of 2 different dollar bills and get this message:

what am I doing wrong??Sorry, the bill you entered does not have a valid combination of Denomination and Series(Year). You entered Denomination: One and Series:0 . The Series is the Year printed under the word 'Series' near the bottom of the bill.

Look for a little "A" under the series... that might make it workPHAW Webmistress wrote:OK I'm confused - not hard I know

I had seen this quite a while back but kept forgetting to check it out. When we were in Tennessee we had a $10 that had "where's George" on it and said go to wheresgeoge.com. This thread reminded me but we spent the $10. So tonight I registered my first bill. Unfortunately it is a sad reminder of the income, a $1 bill
