Definitely. I'm thinking BN gathering there. People will wonder why there are so many people gathered there. Naturally, they'll want to run over and try it, thus drumming up even more business

deep fried stromboli sounds yum.
BeachBum - food here is tough. I like the boardwalk pizza but only eat on the boardwalk once in awhile. We don't have any pizza place we like here in the winter.
I like mack's as I grew up spending summers in Wildwood and we always had it. It's different and not everybody likes it, but apparently tons of people do judging by the lines. We used to order from Romeo's but the owner who cooks is, well, greasy, sweaty, and he does the deliveries sometimes. When he comes to my door I can't get that image out of my head and then I can't eat.
I think the Promenade had Pannini now but I don't know how good it is. I generally think the promenade is expensive and not that good. They did a major rehab this summer and it looks much nicer so maybe it will be good.
Anything that is a reasonable price and portable could work on the boardwalk but the rents are so expensive, and people tend to be creatures of habits up there so there's risk in trying anything too different. However, every now and then something different comes along and does fantastic. An example would be Monkey Bread, which has a bad location but now also has an off-boardwalk location, and Ocean City Coffee which does fantastic because the filled a nitch need.
My sisters and I could always kick ourselves over the monkey bread which we've been making forever.
