Forgot the guy's name but he seems to have the stick up his ass.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
Life is short, live long!!

Yep-i still can't believe they pulled this one out. But I hope they use the week off to regroup, understanding that they are not quite as good as they might have thought they were.
Still, (and I can't believe I am saying this)
BEARS WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we ain't got no alibi
Big #54 willed us to a win and Dennis Green handed it over and we will take it.
Green had a great game plan, but he lacks the balls in tight situations, he totally lost this game for the hapless Cardinals

24 points and not one of them came from the offence
what is going to happen when the start playing teams who don't turn the ball over and have good special teams?
That November 26 game at New England should be great one.

That was Jordanesque. Urlacher wouldn't let them lose. Was there one running play that he wasn't involved in stopping? Amazing performance. Many firsts in that one including:
First team to overcome a 20 point deficit without an offensive TD.
Fewest amount of yards on attempts for Edgerin (1.5 yds a carry)

They could win against the Giants and should win against the Jets, but not that Pats.Cubbie Bear wrote:3-0 on the road, hmmmmmmmmBottleofRum wrote:One game was at home, the other on the road... hmmmCubbie Bear wrote:If they play like last night....loseBottleofRum wrote:24 points and not one of them came from the offencewhat is going to happen when the start playing teams who don't turn the ball over and have good special teams?

I hope losing Brown won't hurt their chances on the 3 game road trip. Since 2004 the Bears are 16-4 when Brown plays and 6-12 without himCubbie Bear wrote:3-0 on the road, hmmmmmmmmBottleofRum wrote:One game was at home, the other on the road... hmmmCubbie Bear wrote:If they play like last night....loseBottleofRum wrote:24 points and not one of them came from the offencewhat is going to happen when the start playing teams who don't turn the ball over and have good special teams?

He definitely has the "it" factor. Some good backups, but I think they are going to miss his vocal leadership as much as anything. One of these other guys is going to have to step it up in that department. I nominate Alex Brown.spendingmoney wrote:I hope losing Brown won't hurt their chances on the 3 game road trip. Too Funny
Colts-Patriots may not be the NFL’s most storied rivalry but it’s one of the most bitter. With both teams among the AFC’s elite, the showdown at Gillette Stadium on Nov. 5 has an alluring combination of talent and tension.
The Patriots ratcheted things up recently by asking the league to ensure the safety of team employees when the Colts visit. That was a shot across the bow of Polian who, according to sources, was made to apologize to a New York Jets employee after getting physical with him on Oct. 1 at Giants Stadium.

SWEET!!!!!!!!!
Tony Romo may now be the Dallas Cowboys starting QB!!!!
He took over for Drew Bledsoe at halftime last night, and while he didn't perform great (2 TDs, 3 INTs), he was better than Bledsoe was. Talk is that the job is now his!
Why do I care? He's the first EVER major league level professional athlete to come out of my High School, and although I don't know him, my Mom and his Mom are friends.
One drawback, though. Now I have to root for the friggin' Cowpies.
