An off day for LT yesterday....Only 100+ yards rushing, only 2 TD's (now at 24 and 1 passing. That is 2 this year and six over his career. The Bolts played terrible yet still beat DaRaaaidas. 9 and 2 baby!

And they beat a team that is now 9-1. No worries, Dallas will be playing in February.
Yea, playing golf.
The Steelers have a t-time for 1:45 today if anyone wants to joing them on the course.

So much for "The Defending Super Bowl Champions"

We STINK!!!!

I think it is safe to say the 2005 Steelers will go down as one of the worst teams ever to win a Super Bowl. They backed into the playoffs, got some very generous calls in the playoffs, then a lot more help from the referees in the Super Bowl. In their last 25 regular season games they are under.500. You can put last seasons super bowl team up next to Toni Basil, Kajagoogoo, Dexy's Midnight Runners and other one-hit-wonders who are never heard from again

And the Cowboys see Mike Vanderjagt off . . .
Hank Hill : Just in case I'm incapacitated for some reason, do you know how to start a man's heart with a downed power line?

Bobby: No.

Hank : Well, there's really no wrong way to do it.

Proving that he is one of the biggest chokers in football.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

Plummer gets the hook, in the middle of a (albeit half-assed) playoff run... I hope the Broncos step it up... Plummer was only PART of the problem.

Maybe Tom Coughlin should take his cue from Shanahan and give Eli Manning a week or 2 of rest.

That could go down as one of the worst trades this century? NY got Eli Manning and SD ended up with Phillip Rivers, LB Shawne Merriman and K Nate Kaeding, a steal for the Chargers.

And when things start going bad, Eli gets that deer in the headlights look on his face.

Can anyone actually name the Giants backup QB?
It's not like there is a Jay Cutler behind him or even someone like Patrick Ramsey (backing up Chad Pennington). If Coughlin did that, he would be destroyed by the NY media for bailing on the season, and probably fired.

Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar

No, he didn't make the team this year. They have the Seattle QB Hasselback's brother and Jared Lorenzen.

It wasn't as bad as this one;

The Dallas Cowboys sent RB Herschel Walker to Minnesota for,

LB Jesse Solomon, DB Issiac Holt, RB Darrin Nelson, LB David Howard, DE Alex Stewart

And...

Six draft picks that Dallas used to select,

Emmitt Smith, Russell Maryland, Kevin Smith, and Darren Woodson.

Commonly referred to as the dumbest trade ever and the one that led to Dallas winning 3 Super Bowls in 4 years in the 90's

So was Mike Vick in exchange for LaDanien Tomlinson, Rechee Caldwell, and Tim Dwight. By not taking Vick in the first round, they were able to draft Drew Brees in the second round. (They also got Tay Cody, but he was a bust.)

Dang Jags!!!!
We tied the game with 28 seconds left and you would think that it would go to overtime. However, you know what they did?
That's right, that god d@mned squib kickoff which was fielded around the 30 and returned to midfield
You'd think that temas would learn their lesson from this.
Buffalo gains about 30 yards and kicks a field goal as time expired :x

However, I must say that Garrard looks pretty good and that this could be the beginning of Leftwich on his way out!!!!
I always was a Garrard fan, who was being groomed to take over for Brunell and felt he got a slap in the face when they took Leftwich.

You did. Apologies...

And it may be the worst of this century.
