How' bout them Cowboys!!!

I'll be going to hell!
The Bears screwed up and somehow WON, despite all the efforts of that incompetent BOOB of a quarterback to give the victory to the Vikings.
If they get past the first round of the playoffs with that idiot, I'll walk through the Coral Ridge Mall wearing nothing but speed-o's.

The Giants came up small again. Tom Coughlin has 1 year left on his contract but he'll be unemployed as soon as the season's over. For a coach who has a reputatin for being a disciplinarian, the Giants are about the most undisciplined team in the NFL. How can a 15 year veteran like Bob Whtfield get a personal foul for head butting a defensive lineman after the play is over? Un-f'n-believable.

How come when the Broncos get up on a team, their defense turns into Twinkies? Soft with a cream filling....

Tell me about it. They are just not as precise as they were when they won their championships. Too many miscues. But I still love 'em.

Good teams win games like that.

Can anyone tell me why the Lions didn't get a penalty for calling a timeout when they had none to use??? :-? Not that it mattered. :D

What a day for Mike Vrabel. 2 INTs and gets knocked out on the last play. :o

The refs felt sorry for them?

The ref's screwed up. When a team signals for a timeout and has none left the ref's are suppose to ignore it and let the play continue. Unless it is in the last 2 minutes of the game then it is a penalty. One of the ref's blew the whistle, after teh game they said it was a mistake.

That head butt was really sad....my jaw dropped on that one. Image

I would like to contribute 2 cents for the purchase of the Redskins since Daniel Snyder has no effing clue on how to run a franchise. I have been a Skins fan since I was 3 and his fantasy football type mentality has got to go. At least when Mr Cooke owned the team he stayed the hell out of the way. Go away Danny boy go away!

Let's see, when he came in, he was going to correct a few things:
1) Penalties: Yesterday was the perfect example of how undisciplined the Giants are. Not only do they commit the penalties, but they commit them at the most unopportune times (ie. Eli is actually having himself a good drive). Even stupider than Whitfield's penalty was Burress's, who's developing a TO attitude. How stupid can you get? Disciplined? I think not.

2) Injuries: When Coughlin took over, the year before the Giants finished the season with 13 players on IR. He proclaimed injuries are a cancer and would correct them. The past two years, the Giants had similar numbers of players on IR, and although it's less this year, it doesn't include T Luke Petitgout, DE Michael Strahan, LB Carlos Emmons, CB Corey Webster, plus Tiki Barber playing with a broken thumb. Coach Coughlin, the injuries are still a cancer. Might be time for another coach to step up the chemo treatments.

My question to the coaching staff...is......why stop running the ball inside the 5.......you have a stud like Jacobs.....that no one can take down if... run him up the middle or off tackle that is his strength.....sweeps like that 4th down play isn't his running style!!....

Looked to me like Coughlin got outcoached...

Again. He should be used to it by now.

I agree. Too bad we can't fire the owner.

You can relate to me on this one Aero. It just p*** me off to no end seeing Snyder ruin Gibbs second run as coach. Gibbs has had very little or no emotion since his return. The Dallas comeback game last year on MNF was the last time I saw him get excited. I hate to see him retire but he looks like his heart isn't in it anymore.

Until Danny goes away we will always be super bowl champs on paper and in the pre-season.

He's like Cuban in one sense that B.S.... I mean D.S. has way too much money to burn, where they part is that Cuban is willing to do listen to the people who know basketball to put the money where is needed. It doesn't look like Snyder would do it (in football).

You know, I may be a little crazy, but I thought Monday Night Football was about football. Why the hell are they plugging the new Rocky movie for the better part of 15 minutes. They barely talked about the game. Another reason to dislike ESPN Monday night football.
