Even though their run defense is horrendous, I'm surprised the offense has been let off so easliy. People still talk as though the Colts offense is scoring tons of points...but they're not. They've had a ton of 3-and-outs this year. In fact I'd be surprised if they're generating even middle-of-the-pack points these days. There are big problems on both sides of the ball and there's not much sustained intensity (the problem that fatally bit them last year). Maybe they'll get the problems worked out, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them limp into and quickly out of the playoffs.

If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

But the thing is with Manning, and I think the same thing with Marino, is that they are both such good passers that if you have any sort of a running game, it is easy to beat them. If I remember correctly, Miami didn't have any run defense either back then.CaptainP wrote:Manning is not the problem and he is not overrated. Manning did, however, look awful today.

I don't care who you are, you gotta admit that LT is a monster. He just tied the most amounts of TD in a season.

Not to sure how well the Jay Cutler experiment is going
That one was hard to watch.
The Chargers have not looked this good since the Dan Fouts days of the 80's!
If you ever want to start a fight in a bar in San Francisco, just tell someone Dan Fouts was a better all around QB then Joe Montana.
Fouts was a master at timeing patterns and could throw long and mid range passes.

Needless to say, the guy that has LT is in first, the guy that traded him away is in last.aeroparrot wrote:Talk about a steal.Left Field ParrotHead wrote:And the guy leading my fantasy league got him in a trade.aeroparrot wrote:I don't care who you are, you gotta admit that LT is a monster. I don't think Peyton looked all that bad today...there was an interception...things around him weren't too pretty though. How much of that was him vs. others (I lost count on cleanly dropped passes)...who knows; it's a team game.CaptainP wrote:Manning is not the problem and he is not overrated. When you give up 375 yards on the ground.....i don't care who the QB is...you're not winning many games!!!Quiet and Shy wrote:I don't think Peyton looked all that bad today...there was an interception...things around him weren't too pretty though. And the QB can't do it himself.......What hurt Marino was he never had a running game and everydown was a pass unlike Manning(James for years & Addai isn't half bad)!!!

Manning is the best QB in the NFL. A few bad games and everyone is talking like he's a pretender. You can't win a game if you don't have a defense no matter who you are. Yes...he did kinda bad today, but the fact of the matter is if he doesn't throw at least 3 touchdowns everyone is on his case. He may one day win a Super Bowl. He's already won MVP and taken his team to playoffs countless times. If and when he does get that Super Bowl, people may start talking about him being the best in the history of football. Before then, though, he has to have a defense to help him like Tom Brady, Ben Roethlesberger, and many other QB's did.TommyBahama wrote:When you give up 375 yards on the ground.....i don't care who the QB is...you're not winning many games!!!Quiet and Shy wrote:I don't think Peyton looked all that bad today...there was an interception...things around him weren't too pretty though. How 'bout 'dem TITANS!!!
Yet another exciting win for my boys from Tennessee today! It was sweet to beat little Manning and the Giants 2 weeks ago. To make it even sweeter (a little bittersweet for me), we knocked off the Colts and the best QB in the league last week. What could top it off anymore than to go down to the former home of our franchise and the former home of the most exciting QB in the NFL today and beat them!
