Why did the chicken...

dance?

This post is purely rhetorical...and silly.

And has no redeeming social value.

And is not meant to be offensive to chickens.

I have analyzed the dancing chicken image in your post and I have reached a few conclusions.

By the expression on her face, she appears to be under some stress. Perhaps someone is forcing her to dance? Threats against her person? I can' t say definitively without more information, but in any case it appears to me that the performance is being made under duress.

She is also dancing in the nude, and taken together with the above comment, I believe we may be looking at a harrassment issue.

Finally, I have spent countless hours engaged in behavioural studies (of humans, animals and parrotheads) and I know for a fact that chickens flock together in large numbers. This chicken is alone - a highly unnatural state for a chicken, and therefore in and of itself the source of significant distress for this creature.

On behalf of chicken lovers and other concerned poultry supporters, I would just like to say that I am deeply offended and will be speaking with some of my Congressional contacts (Dr. Bill Frist et al) to pursue a special act of Congress to have this post removed and the chicken in question liberated.

Good day!

Looks like our fowl friend is at the end of a long line for the porta-potties at a Buffett concert.
